Ok, a couple months ago, I lived in Oakland California with my mom, brother, sister, and step dad. But, a week ago, I left her and my dad to visit my family in Oakland for spring break and my mom keeps saying when my school let's me out in May, I'm coming back to stay for good. I don't want to leave my dad's house because of everything I got there. Even Tatiana (the girl) and I don't want to leave and give her up just so my mom can see me graduate at my old school. She's not giving in, I think she really wants me to stay and it's making me angry because Tatiana (the girl) and me just might become boyfriend and girlfriend, and she would be my first. Why is my central air / furnace freezing / icing up?

The part that is icing over is the pipe that goes from the furnace outside to the central air unit. I had it checked by a professional and I was told that my pressures & freon levels are fine. My filter was changed a week ago. However, it was rather dirty when it was removed. The professional told me that he didn't know what was wrong. He said my central air unit is rather old. Therefore, I need to buy a new central air unit. My furnace is less than a year old and I am afraid that if it continues to freeze, it is going to hurt my furnace. I turned my furnace off with only the fan running for over 24 hours. It appeared to be completely thawed out. It iced back up once I turned on the air conditioning again. What should I do? Is it possible that the central air unit is fine (since it is maintaining the correct pressure and freon levels)? Is it possible that the pipe going from my furnace to my central air unit just needs replaced?

I sprained my ankle 6 months ago and it still hasnt healed why?

you could have fractured it, i did that in September so you could get it checked out but more likely it is just a sprain and sprains are pretty stupid injuries they will bother you forever. The same ankle that i fractured in September i sprained in April and it still isn't healed. Just take anti-inflammatory medicine, like Advil, and ice it to reduce swelling also if you play sports wear braces to help support and prevent further injury.

I am new to auto cad and am having trouble with setting the scales on it. I have set up a new page in A3, and i have dimensions for a model. I want this model in a scale of 1:5. Normally when i draw a line, it draws it in a 1:1 scale, then i change it to 1:5 and it still draws it in 1:1. I know it is because when i am dimensioning it, it still says 100mm, for a 100 unit line that i draw. any help?

So I brought my 2yr old daughter to one of her "playdate" friend's birthday party this morning. Since my daughter gets car sick shortly after she wakes up, we usually grab a pack of pop tarts or some waffles that she can eat for breakfast when we get to our destination. So we get there and she wants her pop tarts. As I'm pulling them out of her diaper bag, this other 2yr old little boy (family to the birthday girl, never met them before) tries to snatch them out of my hand. So I pull back and proceed to open. My daughter is a VERY good "sharer" with other children and she knows he wants some. So we offer him some, he gets his little bite size piece and walks away. Shortly after, he's back leaning on my leg wanting another piece, again, I give him another bite size piece and he walks away. Right after that, his father very aggressively approaches me and says (with a raised mean voice) " DON"T give him anymore!" Dumb founded & confused at his tone, I say "OOOkkk, I'm sorry." Then he says again even louder "NO MORE!" then walks away, sits in another room where he can still see me, giving me the stink eye. At the time I was sitting in a circle of three other moms from my daughters playgroup. We all kind of look at each other, I look down at the package and say "It's just a pop tart" with a confused face. First thing I thought of was maybe he didn't want him having sugar, but I seen the little boy eating the sugary snacks provided at the party. Then one of the moms says "Maybe it's not Kosher" and check the package to confirm that it wasn't. I asked her what that meant, but she said she'd have to tell me another time. So I came home and googled it and it seems to involve religion although what I've read involves meat. Let me say, that I have NEVER given a child I didn't know our food without checking with parents first. This was the first time I've ever done it. I guess the fact that he wanted it so badly by trying to take it from me, it just slipped my mind. However I think the guy approached me all wrong and I'm pretty upset about it. I would have never done that to another parent or child knowing that they were only being polite to my child. I would have approached them and said " Thank you for sharing with my son, but that's something we don't allow him to have, so if he comes back for more just let me know so I can handle it"...ya know...something along those lines. So anyway, what was it about a pop tart that set him off so badly? What made him so mad that he treated me that way in front of everyone?

Problems carving on my snowboard?

i can carve but sometimes fall. and i dont know why. i will be carving on my toe side then ill turn to my heel and then back to my toe and thats normally when i fall. i think i catch my edge but im staying on my toes or heels when i turn but it seems where the board lays flat in between transitioning from toe to heel is where my edge will catch. so what i have been doing is as i turn i kinda hop a little. just a little, not even enough to lift my board just to take the pressure off. is that what your suppose to do? so any input? im kinda thinking that it will just get easier as i snowboard more. or its probably because i got a new board and i havent de-tuned it yet so maybe thats why it was soo grabby.

Why is he acting this way?

I have ben friends with this man for years. He even once told me he loved me and I said the same back. I haven't seen him for a year. I am still not well, but we see each other every day regularly through work. Sometimes he is really nice to me, then when we are in the canteen, he acts aloof and cold, like he doesn't know me. If he sees me in the corridor I notice he puts his head down and looks away. I can't interpret the expression on his face. WEED & FEED and my Dog. :(?

So we did the spray weed and feed on our yard on Saturday. Because we live in Washington State it is always wet. Our yard was damp as suggested, however we didnt get enough sunshine for the weed and feed to dry properly as directed. Our dog went out on the gr to use the bathroom and at some point my have licked his paws and ingested some of the fertlizer/weed killer. He was drooling excessively yesterday so I took him to the vet. The Vet gave him Charcoal and told me to watch him for the next 24 hours to make sure that he doesnt get any worse. Well our yard is where he goes to the bathroom. There is really no other option as we fertilized the entire yard. He wont go while on a leash so I can take him elsewhere. It has been raining consistantly since we sprayed. I am wondering if the weed and feed has been rinsed away now? We have alot of standing water in our yard and I have been monitoring to make sure he doesnt step in that. However I cant keep him off the lawn. Just want to make sure that the weed and feed has now been either rinsed or absorbed to safe point. If anyone has the answer to this please let me know. Thanks!

That sounds absolutely beautiful. Well I have a sort-of summer romance story. I worked at a daycare one summer and this boy, who is 2 years younger than I am, went there with his 3 cousins. We sat together, watched tv together, played, swam, did everything together. He told me he liked me, even held my hand. That was the closest I have ever gotten to a boy. Theres a few new bands I like, but I like older music better myself too, and im only 22, the reason is you have about 500 different genres of music now, and its hard to find good bands when theres thousands to choose from, and most of the bands they play on the radio are garbage, back in the day they played good bands on the radio, and u didnt have to search for a good band cuz there was only a few types of music. Can the Army Recruiter be sued for breach of contract?

Recruiter had me enroll in a school to complete diploma credits. After completion was ready to ship to basic training, put on hold, and then told that the school was not up to standards for the Army. Spent months doing schoolwork and being DEP in the Army. Sworn in under oath and placed to ship out for BCT. Now the recruiter's office here is doing an about face and I am getting messages from them to stay quiet. I am not the only recruit to go through this and have found that others are being removed/ tranferred out of that school and into one that is appropriate. Which does not pertain to me since I HAVE graduated. I have taken everything that the Army has thrown my way and have ped all tests to be enlisted, but am now taking the fall for being disserviced by the recruiter and now in limbo because I had prepared for shipping out and am now basically left with nothing but threats from recruit staff to stay quiet and nix saying that they had me enroll in a program that the Army paid for!

We are both second year students at university living in the same residence who I have just gotten to know this year. A couple of weeks ago, she was flirting with me and always gave me her full attention when i talked, never breaking eye contact. In 2000, if Florida had gone differently, the election would have been decided by my state's measily 5 electoral votes. The candidate who won my state carried it by 800 votes. I do believe that every vote can make a difference. My state had a Consitutional amendment in 2002 that ped by two votes statewide. EDIT: One more thing you hinted at, Giuliani has a long history of vindictiveness and a hot temper. Those are very bad traits for a president. We now have a President who is currently one of the most unpopular in history but I don't see him holding grudges and acting out of anger. I respect him for that trait although I disagree with many of his decisions.

Stupid kids won't stay off of my property...?

We bought and moved into our house after it had been on the market for two years, just enough time for these little kids to get used to playing around in the yard. Well it is our yard now and we would like them to stop tresping onto it. We have spoken to the 'parents', as if irresponsible, non-observant retards are the definition of parent, but the kids continue to come onto our property. It seems as though every day at some point we see them in our yard and have to go outside and yell at them to go home. We have planted hedges along the property lines but they will take some time to grow out. Also, I have a strong suspicion that they have caused destruction to our garden, as their are small footprints and crushed plants, but I can't prove that it was them. What can the law do if I were to call them? I really do not want to be held liable for any accidents that may happen on my property, and I am getting sick of wasting my breath yelling.

if its mainly your throat then it sounds very much like it could be tonsillitis or it could be a virus. definately doesn't sound like swine flu but please dont take my word on that. i get tonsilitis a lot and its exactly as you described. the best way to help clear it is gargle salt water every few hours, drink plenty,take some lemsip or similar but not too hot lol, use throat lozenges (strepsils are good) and generally just rest. i doubt you will be better for school tomorrow but i hope you get better soon. hope this helped

Should I take my father back into my life after he abandoned me and my sister a week after my mom died?

When I was 9 and my sister was 5 my mom committed suicide by cutting her wrist in front of me and my sister while my dad was at work. It was a really hard time for me and I still have nightmares about it even though I am 21 now. It was made worse I think by a week later my dad leaving us with my aunt and uncle and leaving to New Zealand to go back to his parents. The only thing he said before he left was that he was sorry and he would be back once he got his head together and that we would leave New Mexico and live in New Zealand.
