CH4 covalent and LDF?

the bond in CH4 molecule is covalent. but i haven't heard about solid CH4 as the conditions required for solidification might be tough. But even in liquid CH4 the forces responsible will be LDF as these molecules are non-polar in nature and only LDf can hold them together in liquid state.that is why liquid CH4 is highly volatile. ( liquide CH4 is found mainly in CNG)
