Will using over the counter nasal spray hurt a nostril piercing?

I am trying to quit using nasal spray, as it's become a real problem. I am so incredibly congested though that the pain in my head is unbearable. I would rather use it once more and then buy some decongestant tablets tomorrow. Will it hurt my nostril piercing to spray nasal spray into the pierced nostril? Right now I am just using spray in the non-pierced nostril. Thank you.
