How to convert prc or pbd (mobipocket) files to pdf, doc, html, rtf or txt?

I have lots of ebooks in prc and pbd and like to convert them to pdf, doc, html, rtf or txt. ABC Amber Palm Converter doesn't work for me, I only get gibberish. Does anybody know another converter, preferable freeware? Thanks in advance!
