Religious writings?

I'm Buddhist, or at least I do the best I can to be one, my question is; Christians and the Christian religion use the Bible as their primary source of readings, where they get a lot of morals and everything from, with Muslims they have the Qu'ran, are there any major books or writings I should have and read as a Buddhist? I have the Tao Te Ching, it's pretty great, but are there any other writings/scriptures/books that I should be looking at that have a lot of great information? I understand how different Buddhism is, and this is why I am not sure, I have never had guidance into further readings, thanks!
