What makes a religion true? (See details)...?

Using so-called religious insight has flaws because what religious belief hasn't had a hand in persecution, Crusades, Terrorism, ual misconduct, misrepresentation of facts, etc, etc. Only God and not religion can pick the true religion because the religions always pick themselves. If you'll notice, the bickering over the so-called true religion is always done between the followers. The Leaders of one religion never tells the Leaders of another religion that they have the wrong one. They're very smart, they sit back and let the followers fight it out.
