Another PC arrested for having child on his computer?

This Thames Valley Officer has now resigned and is being held on remand, but could someone please explain to me what satisfaction these people get from watching such disgusting filth and how widespread is it in the Police Force?. I know of a number of Officers arrested for the same thing.
