Top secret clearance for navy?

when the FBI or whoever does these investigations will they find out if i lied to MEPS? im in DEP now i told my recruiter what i left out and he said its no big deal they wont find out they dont look for that stuff anyway. bottom line should i be worried and spill the beans to meps or im cool and they wont find out. this is for TS clearance thanks
